Police And Shi’ites Members Clash In Abuja

Members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria (IMN) on Tuesday clash with policemen during a procession demanding the unconditional release of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

However, five members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) were injured during the clash between the security operative and members of Shi’ites.

The confrontation occurred during the procession of members of the IMN at Burger roundabout in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Shiites are demanding the unconditional release of their leader,  and his wife, Zeenat detained by government in a correctional facility in Kaduna State.

According to a member of the IMN, Ibrahim Yahaya;

As I am speaking to you five of our members have been killed by the police.

  1. This people weren't ashamed of themselves, why don't they go to Kaduna and do all these nonsenses? They really knows El-Rufa'i wouldn't tolerate their nuisances.
